MealAce

In development · iPhone · dinner only

One dinner changes. The whole week has to follow.

MealAce is a family dinner planner for iPhone. Change a dinner mid-week, and the grocery list and the allergy notes change with it.

One email when there is a build to try. No newsletter, and nothing to pay.

What it does

It remembers who eats what

Every allergy, intolerance and dislike is recorded against the person it belongs to, along with who wrote it down and when. Nothing is guessed, and nothing is inferred from what you happen to cook.

It carries a change all the way through

Swap Thursday, drop Friday, add someone to the table. Items that belonged only to the meal you removed come off the list, the new meal's items go on, shared amounts are recalculated, and whatever you already ticked stays ticked.

It names the entry behind a warning

When a change collides with something you recorded, MealAce tells you which entry, whose it is, and when it was written down — so the judgement stays yours instead of arriving as a verdict.

What it does not do

Where this is up to

MealAce is not on the App Store. There is nothing to buy and nothing to install today. The waitlist is how you hear first when there is a build worth trying, and you can leave it with one click whenever you like.
